However, as the years have gone by, writers' books and papers have been very much in demand, and writers have increasingly been exposed to the idea of incorporating a Christian end of the world theme into their literature. What was once a time-honored plot device in literature is now becoming more popular in our modern society. This is not surprising, as most people tend to have a religious bent or at least subscribe to some sort of apocalyptic beliefs.
The real thing can be interesting to read, but it should be remembered that there are many different kinds of reasons for an individual to want to write an apocalypse essay. This is because there is a lot of scope for different perspectives to be expressed. Sometimes people may wish to express their reaction to the societal trends that are sweeping through our world. It would be nice if there was some real moral lesson or perhaps even a clear commentary on what we are facing in life. But this is not always the case. For many, writing the Apocalypse is a means of making a statement about their opinion on certain controversial issues. It has been said that everyone is a survivor in the Apocalypse, and we all live through some kind of change in our lives. There are times when our opinions or actions are based upon those little changes. Such issues can be so very serious that it is easy to get caught up in the act of expressing yourself. One can also consider the theme as a way of expressing the change in lifestyle that will soon take place. Some see the ending of the world as the ultimate 'happening'. In this view, we are making changes, and nothing that happens today will not be carried over into the next era. Still another reason why the Apocalypse is being written is to simply connect with others. The Apocalypse has a very close association with belief in the End Times, as it was the end of the Roman Empire, and also of Christendom. Many simply feel that they need to express their own beliefs or perhaps need to express their own experience of the Apocalypse to the world. The list of common themes goes on. There are many different reasons why people choose to write an Apocalypse essay, but the main reason is likely a mixture of both events. They are just very much in demand in our current day and age.
